Craft Fair

Well Sat is my very first craft fair, no not that I have ever been to ,craft fair that I have a booth at. so over the last few weeks my sewing room(basement) has been very busy. lots of sewing, marmalade making(tastes yummy) will take photos when I set up and show you what I have been making, Lots of tea related stuff quilts, bags, teacups, teapots, plates, lace table cloths. So pray the weather stays good not to hot not to cold. Will update as I take photos. Oh and here is the info on where it is.Treasures Antiques,106 route 122 Amherst NH.
Sat and Sun 9 till 5 May 1st and 2nd., Any one who live close by come and see what going on there are 75 booths so lots of things to see.

Well done Amy . Amy is our youngest and has Down Syndrom she is a Jr this year. Last night we went to her school because she got High Honer role and they presented her with a certificate so here she is, she is very pleased with her self and so are we.

I should have done this a few days a go but have been spring cleaning and sewing up a storm . Shannon and I became swap partners in 2009 for a Valentines swap and have become swap buddies ever since so this week she sent me a Easter package. I was thrilled with what she sent as the main gift she has made for me I love it thank you.I know you have been away this week so I am hopping my package is there for  you when you get back. URGENT PRAYER REQUEST

I just had an email asking for prayer for a 19 year old girl named Rebbeca, she was told by her Dr yesterday that there was no more they could do for the cancer that has invaded her body, she is still praying  for God to heal her and I would ask you all to pray for Rebbeca and her family. Thank you

Trip to Target

I have been reading about all the trips you ladys have been taking to Target to buy some of the Liberty of London they have been selling, so today I had to go and see for my self and this is what I came home with an umbrella, two picture frames and a two teir plater for afternoon tea.I also have sent off two parcels for the swaps I signed up for. Both to the UK. Have a great weekend we are going to a family from church tomorrow I am taking crab stuffed mushrooms and a coffee walnut cake YUM YUM .

Finished my new duvet cover

notice the cat got in the picture again, as soon as I put the cover on my bed she jumped up.

I have been looking for a new duvet cover and could not find one I liked so decided to make one out of 9 inch squares and today I finished it. Put it on my bed, what do you think I love it, it was what I was looking for.

Great News

Yesterday I had to see my Dr to check everything was going well and have my blood checked for my cancer marker well I just got the results and Great News it had gone down again it is now 8.1. I have to admit yesterday I was a little stressed in case it had gone up but thank the lord it is still on its way down.

Valentine package

Sorry this took me so long but better late than never, Last year I signed up for a valentine swap and my swap partner was Shannon from Toolson Family, we have kept in touch and this year this is what she sent me. Thankyou Shannon Can you all see the wonderful things she sent me, A hand towel ,chocolate(yum yum) jelly beans and a Moda set of squares I have a project in mind for them, updates to come.

2 Quilt tops finished and a new one started

Here are two of the quilt tops I have just finished one is a king for my bed, lots of colour the other one is for a chest I have in my dinning room. Then they are off to the quilter, also I have put pictures of the first few flower blocks from my grandma quilt. I have a basket I am keeping my fabric in and as I finish a hexagon I throw in back in the basket , I was getting some help today from Daisy (my 18yr old cat) she was keeping the hexagons in order or did she think the quilt was finished and she was testing it out.

Valentines Afternoon Tea

My  husband Simon took Amy and myself for Valentines afternoon tea at the The Stonehenge Inn  It was great we were able to chose 3 different sandwiches , I had lobster.roast beef and smoked salmon then we had scones and devonshire cream and jam then after all that we had little cakes and cookies, lots of hot tea. THANK YOU Simon,  Amy and I enjoyed it. You are my Valentine

new project

I have started a new project a grandma's flower garden quilt and when I can work out how to put pictures on my blog I will show you how it is going also signed up for a swap on dolly dollop's blog. Amy is off school today so will just work away on my quilt. line dancing tonight Amy loves country music, I have to sit and watch as the chemo is still making my feet as well as my finger tips feel numb. going to upgrate my blog

well you will be glad to know I have bought my self Blogging for Bliss by Tara Frey. I have only had a quick look through this great book and next week will spend some time on learning how to jazz up my blog. I am going to a hotel on Sunday for valentines afternoon tea I am going to take some pictures and will try and put them on my blog next week. Have a great weekend and Happy Valentines.
